When I first started Architecture I didn’t know what a journey it would be. As a first year student at UQ in 2014 I thought I would finish a year and see if it was a good fit for me. Here I am 6 years later and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. Through undertaking my Masters at UQ, I have discovered a genuine love for architecture. I have been blessed by the love and support of my parents and my family at MODE Design who helped me through the last two years. I don’t think I would have made it through without you.
The project I have decided to share was undertaken in a studio run by Ashley Paine, Ideologies and Institutions. This was a particularly challenging project as we were required to re-brand the National Australian Maritime Museum, while taking into consideration the existing Cox Rayner building, its context and history. This was a fantastic experience as we travelled to Sydney to see the museum and were lucky enough to visit the Cox Office.
